Why take our courses?
We know that you have many options regarding where to learn to shoot safely and competently and where to take a class that qualifies you to get a Concealed Firearm License. While considering your options, just make sure you’re comparing apples to apples. You can take a shooting class and run out to the range or
get your Concealed Firearm License and yet not know how to shoot safely and competently. Missing the target repeatedly, not knowing how to load, unload,
rack your slide, and clean your firearm, dropping your firearm or sweeping the line or violating other safe handling rules and being asked to leave the range, having the gun go bang in ways you don’t expect or not having it go bang when you do expect all make shooting unsafe and unenjoyable.
- Our shooting courses are National Rifle Association courses that qualify successful students over the age of 21 to obtain a CONCEALED FIREARM LICENSE.
- Florida no longer requires a concealed carry permit to carry concealed. Open carry is illegal in the State of Florida.
- Although a concealed carry permit is no longer required, it is STRONGLY suggested that you take a class to learn to carry and handle a gun safely before you decide to carry concealed.
- In addition, if you want to carry out of State, for most States you will need a concealed carry permit for states with reciprocity with the State of Florida.
- Our courses and seminars are taught by an NRA Certified Instructor with many years of personal protection, shooting, and teaching experience.
- Our courses focus on individualized interactive instruction, including in group classes.
- Our courses are designed to make sure that when you leave, you’re comfortable and competent and most of all safe when handling a firearm.
