Refuse To Be A Victim®

Why attend a Refuse To Be A Victim® Seminar?

Here’s a sneak peek into the NRA Refuse To Be A Victim®  Student Handbook:

Why can’t someone offer you a single fail-safe piece of advice so you can avoid or minimize every type of criminal confrontation? The answer is because there isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach to crime prevention and personal safety.

Every crime has variables that make it unique. The victim’s personality, the motivation of the criminal, and the environment of the confrontation make every situation different. Therefore, you need to act or respond according to the circumstances in order to avoid or de-escalate different situations.

Of all the variables of a confrontation, the easiest to control is your environment. We’ll explore what you can do and what habits you can change to make it more difficult for a criminal to prey upon you.
